2-Year Learnership for 2017

Nationwide Placement – Cape Town, Western Cape
Contract, LearnershipSuccessful candidates will complete their training based in Lichtenberg. For the rest of the time candidates will receive practical experience at the quarry. Training intervals will vary from 4-8 weeks at a time (about 3-4 times per year).

You must have reliable transport to reach your specific quarry and ideally not have been employed within the past 2 years.
You will be required to complete an online assessment and pass the medical test.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Diesel Mechanics
Requirements:
N2 Certificate with four subjects: Mathematics; Engineering Science; Diesel or Motor Trade Theory and Engineering Drawing.

2. Fitters
Requirements:
N2 Certificate with four subjects: Mathematics; Engineering Science; Fitting & Machining Trade Theory and Engineering Drawing.

3. Boilermakers
Requirements:
N2 Certificate with four subjects: Mathematics; Engineering Science; Platers’ Theory and Plating & Structural Drawing.
