The position of Quality Manager located at 3M South Africa, situated in Woodmead, a subsidiary responsible for the marketing and sales of a diversified range of products into Sub-Saharan Africa for the global corporation. To continue its growth in the region, the subsidiary has adopted a market focused strategy and is recruiting for this position to give effect to its business objectives. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who enjoy working in a challenging, energetic environment and meet the requirements as indicated.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:

Quality management system – Development, implementation and maintenance

Setting of quality standards for business and manufacturing processes

Quality audits of business processes and manufacturing facilities

Management review meetings

Ensuring quality control for production and suppliers

Implementing quality measurements: Inbound and outbound supply chain

Ensuring quality management of new product introduction and deviations

Implementing CAR process for customers and suppliers

Ensuring compliance to – ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001

Knowlegde of the latest trends in Quality management

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

Min 10 years quality management experience within a corporate and manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant Quality and environmental qualifications
