A well-known house hold name in the Medical NGO environment is looking to employ a SAP proficient individual with financial acumen and strategic leadership skills.. The successful candidate will provide strategic input ensuring that Issuing laboratories / Blood Banks operate to the best standards using latest technology. The incumbent will be responsible for investigating and making recommendation on implementation of new methods and processes. Also ensures that processes in all Blood Banks within the company are standardised, staff are competent and that all the accreditation requirements are met. As well as provide technical expertise to the National Manager – Processing and Issue and Zone Technical Managers to assist the line managers to maintain high standards at an operational level.
The successful candidate must have:
• 5 years in blood transfusion
• HPCSA Registered Medical Technologist (Blood Transfusion)
• 3 years experience in supervising / managing within the Issuing Division.
• Computer literate
• SAP Proficient
• After hours work as and when required
• National travel with extended overnight stays
• Drivers License

Ideal:
• National Higher Diploma or BTech in Medical Technology
• Research and development experience
