Accounts Payable Clerk (Accounting / Taxation / Mining / Shared Services)

Job description

Our client, a leading international metals and minerals company, is currently working on key projects in Southern Africa and are currently seeking in Accounts Payable Clerk to join their head office in Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Proven track record in the mining industry or similar.
• Hands on experience in Multinational Financial Transactions operating within a shared services function.
• Accountable for verifying proper payment approval, processing payments in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that discounts are handled according to company requirements.

Requirements: (Qualifications and skills)

• Graduate degree or Diploma in Accounting
• Additional qualifications in the field of accounting and taxation would be an advantage.
• 2-5 years relevant experience at a multinational organization in a shared services environment.
• 2+ Years experience in the mining industry.
