SALARY : R183 438 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Mamelodi Hospital
REQUIREMENTS : Appropriate 3 years National Diploma/Degree with more tha 3 years relevant
experience or Grade 12 with 5 years experience in patients’ records/registry and
archive management within the hospital environment. Good interpersonal skills,
computer literacy. Team oriented, able to communicate well with people at
different levels. Ability to handle tasks of multidisciplinary nature. Labour
relations process. Knowledge of Tier.net, Medicom and supervisory experience
will be an added advantage.
DUTIES : Supervise and monitor patients’ records and staff (Clerks, Data Capturers,
Messengers and Porters). Conduct inspection on medical record at institution.
Provision of standards and procedures to ensure that information is transmitted
with appropriate security measures. Ensure that confidentiality is maintained.
Ensure that all records are kept in safe custody. Ensure that preserved records
meet safety standards prescribed by NARS Act. Check captured data for
consistency and accuracy. Verify and correct data on the system before
exported to the relevant offices.
