Requirements
Minimum educational qualification:

Senior Certificate (or equivalent).

 

Experience:

Appropriate experience in a Hospital and/or Community Health Centre environment that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (duties) of the post.

 

Competencies (knowledge/skills):

Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel).
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

 

Duties (key result areas/outputs):

Accurate patient assessments and patient admissions on Clinicom system.
Complete patient discharge documentation and system discharges.
Ensure timeous and accurate collection and submission of statistics.
Accurate collection and safekeeping of state money and patient valuables.
File patient clinical notes and laboratory results in folders.
Monitor and order inventory.
Attend to patient queries (verbal and written).
