ADMINISTRATION CLERK: RECORD & ARCHIVES 2 POSTS REF NO: 000754 Directorate: Administration

SALARY : R132 399 per annum (plus benefits) CENTRE : Odi District Hospital

REQUIREMENTS : Degree/Diploma in Administration or equivalent qualification with more than one year experience in Patient Administration. Grade 12 with one year six month experience in Patient Administration experience of record management. Experience in hospital environment will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Public Service Act and Regulations, PAAIA, PAJA, criminal procedure act, Patient Administration, Record Management and Archives.

DUTIES : Filling and retrieval of patient records and other related documents from all areas. Be prepared to work shifts and assist other sections of patient administration as delegated. Safekeeping and disposal of files and documents in terms of the National Archives Act. Storage and retrieval of documents and files.

Daily booking of Patient and tracing of missing files. Correct capturing and completion of Down Time register and Down Time tool. Tracking and checking movement’s history of Patients on the system, register book and completion of J88, 308 and other forms. Perform all other duties of patient administration as delegated by the supervisor.
