the Strategic Human Capital Division of Rand Water

ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
(O-Band)
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
To oversee the overall management of finance, inventory, procurement and projects for the Division.
PRIMARY DUTIES
 Compiling and co-ordinating of departmental annual budget.
 Financial reporting and control.
 Manage Inventory, Procurement, Finance and Project management.
 Providing meaningful and accurate feedback on budget variance reporting.
 Responsible for asset, financial, Inventory, debtors and procurement control
 Responsible for the preparation of Division’s budget in conjunction with other managers
 Responsible for monitoring and reporting on expenditure in relation to approved budget
 Monitor compliance to all Rand water’s policies and procedures with particular responsibility to the financial, procurement and inventory aspects
 Manage the Human Resource within the area of responsibility

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 Bcomm degree or equivalent
 5 years’ experience in a diverse accounting and administration environment with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
 Computer literacy with extensive SAP experience.
 Inventory, Procurement, Accounts and Project Management and governance experience.
 Strong leadership experience.
 A management qualification will be an added advantage.
