ADMINISTRATION OFFICER POST AND REGISTRY SECTION LEVEL 07(ERRATUM)
Directorate: Administration & Logistics
SALARY : R183 438 per annum
CENTRE : Steve Biko Academic Hospital

 

REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma or equivalent qualification with 5 years experience in the post
and registry environment. Knowledge and understanding of legislation and
practices. Good communication (verbal and written). Problem solving and ability
to work independently with limited supervision. People management skills.
Computer literacy and driver’s license.

 

DUTIES : Oversee and administer activities to ensure adequate, effective and efficient
postal services and blood flow in line with the departmental prescripts.
Responsible for receiving, and distribution of mail. Provide administrative support
in ensuring that mail of sub directorates are correctly submitted to head of
departments. Recording, retrieving and archiving of circulars. Assist in HR
registry. Recording of incoming and outgoing correspondence. Oversee all
messenger services. Supervise and development staff.
