DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT VACANCIES

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT REF NO: DOT/HRM/10/41
Branch: Integrated Transport Planning
Chief Directorate: Research & Innovation
Directorate: Transport Policy Monitoring & Evaluation
SALARY : R148 584 per annum
CENTRE : Pretoria

 

REQUIREMENTS : Three (3) year Tertiary qualification with one (1) year experience or Grade 12 (Matric) with three (3) years of experience in an administrative environment in terms of a fully operational office. Note: The following will serve as strong recommendations: Knowledge of General Accounting Practice; Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations; Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Procedures and Policies; Good communication skills (verbal and written); Good interpersonal skills; Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet and Email).

 

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for: Provide an effective and efficient administrative service for the Directorate; Assist the Directorate with preparation of meetings; Prepare documentation for procurement of goods and services for the Directorate; Provide support for the compilation of payments and Subsistence and Travel claims in the Directorate; Verify and receive procured goods and services; Manage incoming documents, filling, tracking and disposal thereof.
