1. ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (PROCUREMENT) REF NO: 36/6/14
SALARY : R183 438 – R216 084 per annum
CENTRE : Chris Hani

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 in Financial Management/ SCM/ Logistic
Management At least 2 years relevant experience, Knowledge of Public Finance
Management Act, Framework for Supply Chain Management, transversal
systems i.e. LOGIS and BAS, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act,
Preferential Procurement Regulations, BEE Framework and BBBEE, Computer
Skills A valid Drivers License(Code EB).

DUTIES : Receive, analyze, record and distribute requisitions for external procurement of
goods and services, Ensure that requisition is in accordance with the Department
Supply Chain Management Policy e.g. informal quotations, formal quotations and
bids, Report progress/status of submitted requisitions, Ensure that suppliers that
are rendering services in the Department are registered in the departmental
supplier database and their details are captured correctly, maintained and
updated timeously. Advise departmental officials on Supply Chain Management
processes for purchasing goods and services, Ensure that proper controls are
implemented for effective and efficient compliance with applicable prescripts,
Serve as secretariat to the Regional Bid Evaluation Committees’, Responsible for
Bid Administration Responsible for all administrative functions related to Tenders
and Contracts.

 

2. ADMINISTRATION OFFICER: ACQUISION MANAGEMENT REF NO: 37/6/14
SALARY : R183 216- R216 084 per annum
CENTRE : Bhisho

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 in Financial Management/ SCM/ Logistic
Management, At least 2 years relevant experience, Knowledge of Public Finance
Management Act, Framework for Supply Chain Management, transversal
systems i.e. LOGIS and BAS, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act,
Preferential Procurement Regulations, BEE Framework and BBBEE, Knowledge
of office procedure and Bid Administration, Good understanding of acquisition
and or demand management processes, Ability to work under pressure,
Computer Skills, A valid Driver’s License (Code EB).

DUTIES : Administer Bid secretariat functions, Compilation of bid documents, notification,
and invitation and evaluation of bids/quotations/proposals, Administer
departmental policies with regard to Acquisition management
