1. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: DEMAND MANAGEMENT 4 POSTS REF NO: 06539
Directorate: Supply Chain Management
SALARY : R183 438 per annum (Plus Benefits)
CENTRE : Central Office, Johannesburg

REQUIREMENTS : A Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management with a minimum of 2
years relevant experience/ or a Grade 12 Certificate with more than 10 years
experience in Supply Chain Management. • Knowledge of public sector
procurement processes, rules and regulations, as well as procurement best
practices. Recommendations: Analytical thinking, problem-solving and
communication skills, Innovative thinking, reporting skills, Policy analysis,
Supervision and Computer literacy.

DUTIES : Research, analyze and plan the procurement requirements of the Department.
Collect information from the end-users per district on the Schedule of
Procurement Plan. Check and analyze the information. Check alignment against
strategic objectives. Consolidate into procurement plan per district. Compile
quotation specifications and tender specifications. Check corrections made to
tender specifications compiled by Bid Specification Committees. Collect, check
and capture information on supplier database. Supervise employees to ensure an
effective demand management service

 

2. ADMINSTRATIVE CLERK: DEMAND MANAGEMENT 4 POSTS – REF NO: 06540
Directorate: Supply Chain Management
SALARY : R123 738 per annum (Plus Benefits)
CENTRE : Central Office, Johannesburg

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. A
Purchasing or supply chain management related certificate will be an added
advantage. Computer literacy and Good verbal & written communication skills.
Ability to plan and organise. Good diligence.

DUTIES : Perform Demand Management functions. Provide administrative support to the
team in collating the information of the procurement needs and requirements of
the Department. Arrange meetings with end- users to compile quotation
specifications and tender specifications. Assist to capture corrections made to
quotation and tender specifications compiled by Bid Specification Committees.
Capture information on supplier database. Keep proper records of all files for
demand management.
