Job Summary    
Description of main duties:

Conceptualand detailed design of civil infrastructure of municipal projects:

Earthworks;
Roads;
Storm-water reticulation;
Sewer reticulation;
Water reticulation;
Preparation of drawings;
Preparation of bills of quantities;
Site supervision;
Complete any other work related to projects within the Department.
Minimum qualificaiton required:

National Diploma (Civil Engineering)

Work related experience required (including specific skills or abilities necessary to do the job):

Min 2 years’ post qualification experinece within a Consulting Engineering environment;
Experience in the design and supervision of Municipal projects, especially informal settlements is advantageous;
High degree of proficiency in the following:

AutoCAD;
MS Office Suite;
Civil 3D and/or ModelMaker Suite

Committed individual; good communication skills, ability to work and support a professional team; ability to multi-task i.e.  work on multiple project simultaneously.

Other comments:

Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
