A vacancy exists for a Customer Support Advisor, reporting to the Customer Asset Manager – Central, KZN and based in Klerksdorp. The purpose of this position is to effectively perform risk and debt management on designated Customer Accounts on a daily basis; to ensure minimum debt is outstanding, administer cylinder resources, establish and maintain a sound relationship with customers and provide a strong support function to the Sales and Branch Services Staff, to the standards required in a world-class National Customer Service Centre.
The ideal candidate should have a Matric certificate with subjects Accounting and Mathemathics a definite advantage. A formal qualification in debt management (Credit Management 1,2 and 3 will be advantageous) & approximately five years debt and risk management experience in Afrox / FMCG environment. Displaying sound verbal and written English communication and interpersonal skills is important. The position is best suited to an individual who is results orientated, deadline driven and assertive. Knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Excel, Word, Exsol, Avaya and Lotus Notes programmes is a requirement.
A valid driver’s license is essential, as customer visits form an integral part of the position.
• Perform pro active debt and risk management to comply with Company policies and procedures, applicable laws for e.g. National Credit Act, Companies- and Close Corporations Act, SLA’s, BOP’s, deadlines and targets.
• Perform customer visits where necessary to build effective and influential relationships.
• Comply with SHEQ requirements when performing work activities, participating in SHEQ initiatives & maintaining a tidy and clean work environment
