Airports Company South Africa – Process Specialist: IT Compliance

• Developing and implementing IT policies and processes
• Conducting IT policy awareness in the organisation
• Implementing an IT Governance & Accountability Framework
• Conducting IT compliance self-assessments on all IT policies, standards, methodologies, processes and procedures
• Ensuring alignment of IT processes to King III requirements
• Ensuring adequate reporting and escalation of non-compliance
• Ensure IT policies & processes are aligned to best practice standards
• Act as a single point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Prepare draft management comments on IT audit findings
• Liaise with internal audit on yearly IT audit Plans
• Develop and manage internal audit engagement process
• Follow up on previous audit findings
• Ensure corrective actions/steps have been taken/ implemented to address audit findings
• Become a conduit for communication between IT and other ACSA governance departments

• 3-5 years’ experience in Risk and/or Audit management
•  A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or an equivalent 4 year degree specializing in Information Technology.
• Excellent knowledge & understanding of IT Governance as well as best practice
• Previous experience in writing & reviewing IT policies
• Excellent presentation Skills

• CISA
• CRISK
• ITIL Foundation
• COBIT

Strong report writing skills as well as excellent written & verbal communication skills are critical in this role. The role requires an individual who is able to manage their time to ensure high impact delivery. The ability to work independently and without supervision is important for success in this role. The ability to deal with and interact with stakeholders at different levels in the organisation is also critical.
