Airports Company South Africa Vacancies – Group Manager

• Be the key spokesperson for ACSA at a national level.
• Present and maintain a positive public image and brand of the company through media outreach strategies, company announcements and public speaking engagements.
• Appropriately position media engagement and relations to support ACSA’s business approach.
• Develop positive relationships with relevant strategic communication partners.
• Execute the ACSA internal and external communication strategy and improve effectiveness of existing communication formats.
• Ensure standardization and management of various types of communication media and activities to support business objectives.

• A relevant tertiary qualification in at least one of the following communication disciplines:  Journalism, Public Relations or Communications coupled with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar senior position.
• Applicants should have extensive experience in internal and external communication in all media formats.
• The position further requires experience in managing a communications division and budgeting processes.
• Skills in stakeholder/media management, customer management, process management as well as risk management are required.
• Working experience in developing and implementing communications business plans are required.
• High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential in this role.

This position requires a confident individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to write and edit. The ideal candidate must be customer centric and diplomatic and be able to cope with ambiguity and ensure problems are solved effectively whilst focusing on priorities.
