Alexander Forbes: Graduate / Internship Programme 2016

Location: Cape Town

The Alexander Forbes Young Talent Development programme is geared towards offering workplace exposure to unemployed, qualified individuals within the insurance industry, in line with their field of study. The programme offers internships to individuals who possess a minimum of a 3 year diploma or degree.

Minimum Requirements

• You must be an unemployed South African citizen
•  Be in possession of a 3 year diploma or degree to apply for the Internship programme
• Applicants should understand, and aspire to work in the insurance industry, and
• Be computer literate

The programme is designed for unemployed graduates whose studies are firmly in line with the insurance sector and are deemed to possess the required competencies to thrive in the workplace without exposure to additional insurance industry related qualification(s). The programme extends over a period of 1 year. Interns will only receive in-house unaccredited training and mentoring to help socialise them into their roles and the workings of a corporate environment. Candidates in possession of the following qualifications will receive preference:-

1. Business Administration
2. Financial Planning
3. Accounting
4. Finance
5. Mathematics
6. Economics
7. Investment Management
