QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum requirement is a National Diploma in Geology or Mining or Surveying

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years relevant experience in exploration or mining production
• Exposure to drill contractors and Lab environment will be a recommendation
• Must be in possession of a valid drivers license (Code 8)
• Computer Literate
• Red Permit

CRITICAL PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Managing drill contractors
• Coordinating, integrating and synchronizing contractor drilling and drilling progress
• Interacting with landowners over borders, barriers, fences and servitudes
• Ensuring SHE standards on exploration sites and all equipment
• Supporting the exploration geologist with borehole logging, sampling and sample preparation
• Administrating and regulating exploration camp and core shed activities
