Role Description:

Responsible for facilitating and managing all IT, IM and SHE Business related requirements arising from the business process, formulation of appropriate solutions to address the given requirement and ensuring the successful implementation of the solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Identify, analyze and understand IT, IM and business requirements / opportunities

Define, design and deliver IT, IM and business solutions by optimizing IT, IM and business systems and functionality

Co-ordinate IT, IM and business projects and initiatives

Ensure adherence to ICT governance and change control

Ensure standardization of business processes

Customer relationship management within the SHE and Sustainable development departments

Business relationship

Change management

Education:

A B. Tech in Safety management or a relevant 4 year B degree or equivalent

MBA, MBL or equivalent Post graduate qualification ( advantageous)

Competencies:

9 years relevant experience made up as follows:

3 years experience in the Safety Health and Environmental Management

3 years experience SHE Systems ISO14001; ISO 9001 & OSHAS 18001

3 years experience in ICT ( advantageous)

COMSOC I and II ( advantageous)

SAMTRAC ( advantageous)

Advanced understanding in the following systems:

Commercial Systems:  SAP

Technical Systems-Hygiene instrumentation, Medical Instrumentation etc.

IRM.Net

Information Management

Business Process Modeling

Physical Requirements:

Certificate of Fitness
