EDUCATION:

Minimum requirement N6 with Millwright Trade Certificate (proof required) Valid driver’s license (Code 8 or higher) (proof required) Valid Fitness for Duty certificate Sound knowledge of AC/DC motors, AC drives, VSD’s and Siemens PLC systems and other PLC systems is a prerequisite (proof required) Sound knowledge of Hydraulic pumps, valves, proportional valves, Hydraulic packs and systems (proof required) Sound knowledge of vibrating feeders. Sound knowledge of Pneumatic systems. Measure up to man-job specifications Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 3 years relevant experience (proof required)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service and maintenance of all Plant maintenance equipment Testing and/or repair on electrical AC/DC motors, AC drives, VSD’s, JIG Control Systems, Hydraulic Systems and Pneumatic and Siemens PLC systems and transformers Must be able to read and interpret equipment drawings and blueprints Do maintenance switching on HV, MV and LV Transformers and T3 switch gear Do maintenance switching on MV and LV switch gear Responsible for work quality and own safety Responsible for own safety Participation in GIRA, SAP and Omega Execution of Ad-hoc tasks Perform planned and unplanned maintenance Inspections and fault finding Do improvement projects Assist foreman and planner in revising maintenance schedules
