SALARY : R442 230 per annum (All inclusive package)
CENTRE : Tshwane district (Kgabo CHC)

REQUIREMENTS : Basic R425 qualification Diploma or Degree in nursing and equivalent qualification that
allows registration with SANC as a professional nurse. Minimum of 5 years supervisory
experience post qualification and duration of at least 1 year curative skills in primary
health care. Minimum of 9 years appropriate nursing experience after registration as
professional nurse with the SANC in general nursing. At least 5 years of the period
referred to the above must be appropriate/recognizable experience after obtaining 1 year
post-basic qualification in the relevant specialty. A valid Driver’s license is a requirement.

DUTIES : Implement departmental policies, protocols and guidelines to strengthen PHC health
system. Ensure provision of PHC services delivery and compliance to clinical health
practices by health care team in accordance with the scope of practice and quality
standards as determined by relevant registering professional bodies and NDoH. Support
capacity of all categories of health workers. Implement measures to improve integrated
PHC clinical services and PHC reengineering in the District and monitor outputs.
Strengthen community participation. Ensure provision and management of facility
resources i.e. HR and finance according to departmental policies and practices.
Communicate effectively inter and intra departmentally.
