The Contact Centre training programme is an initiative of the Avusa Circulation division, with its objective as to empower unskilled youth, preferably those with disabilities, with skills that will enable them to secure future employment.

The programme will run for a 12 month period, starting from April 2011 to March 2012, learners will be entitled to a monthly stipend. At the end of this period learners who complete the programme successfully will receive a Further Education and Training Certificate in Contact Centre Operations NQF Level 4 accredited by SERVICES SETA.

The training will consist of a total of seven skills programmes, which comprises of 30% classroom and 70 % workplace learning, coaching and mentoring by experienced workplace mentors in the company.
