About us

The Graduate Programme runs for 6 months with programmes starting in January and July of each year.

You are employed full time by BBD with the programme designed to give you additional training, mentorship and project work that will make sure you get a great start to your career in the information tech industry.

The programme is planned and executed around the following:

Realistic Timelines – you will be working on a BBD team so we make sure you will have time to do that and get involved in additional training and mentorship activities.

Business Analyst skills – fundamentals

Tech skills – in depth and specialist

Mentorship – we identify a good mentor for you in BBD. Someone who you can use as a sounding board and who will champion your cause in BBD ensuring you get exposed to different projects, technologies and challenges.

Soft Skills – all the skills that help you in any career whether it be IT related or not. These include presentation skills, business communication, business etiquette, leadership skills, time management and conflict management.

After your six months is up you are assessed and placed into a BBD team with everything you need to add real value to yourself, BBD and BBD’s clients.

The role

• Applicants must have completed or be in the final year of completing a BSC Computer Science / Engineering degree from one of the recognised universities. Alternatively a Bcom degree with the relevant subjects.
• Applicants must have no more than 1 years full time work experience
• Applicants must have demonstrated the drive and desire to succeed through consistent academic results
• Applicants must be South African citizens
