Bergriver Municipality: Bursary / Scholarship Programme 2017

1. INCOMPLETE FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED (this includes forms with missing documents) .
2. No late submissions will be accepted
3. The municipality does n ot accept responsibility and will not be held liable for any applications which were undelivered or missing
4. E – mailed applications will not be accepted
5. The municipality will only fund a course which is relevant to Local Government
6. The closing date for appli cations is 1 5 March 2017
7. Only full time students studying towards a degree/ diploma at a Tertiary Institution may apply
8. Non – South African citizens will not be considered
9. A senior student must have passed the previous year’s studies to qualify for a bursary
10. If your application is successful, Bergrivier municipality will require you to enter an agreement . F ailure to sign the agreement will result in forfeiting your allocation

1. Prescribed bursary application form
2. Motivation letter of about 150 words on why you think you should receive the bursary:
3. Curriculum vitae
4. Certified copies of both parents’ income
5. Certified copy of matric results in 2 016 or tertiary results in 2016:
6. Certified copy of South African identity doc ument
7. Proof of registration at tertiary institution
8. Proof of residence within Bergrivier municipal area.
