Requirement Overview
Provide assurance that Customer legal and regulatory requirements are met
Provide legal assistance to Bank business units

Duties and Responsibilities
Examination of customer documents to ascertain compliance with legal and FICA checklists, and reporting findings;
Providing advice in meeting legal compliance requirements;
Providing advice in adhering to Bank policies and procedures;
Communication with business units;
Responding to legal queries from business units;
Providing timeous quality service to business units;
Managing expenses within budget;

Skills, Experience and Education
Education:
Matric
Knowledge of FICA will be an advantage
A banking or legal qualification will be an advantage
Experience in a financial institution will be an advantage

Skill and Attributes:
Computer literacy, including Word
Ability to examine standard legal documents
Attention to detail; eliminating errors
Ability to co-operate with colleagues and work in a team
Communication skills
