BP South Africa CBM Products & Project Manager

Role SynopsisThe CBM Products & Projects Manager (PM) reports to the CIM. The PM is accountable for projects planning through CBM process and custodian of Strategic projects.

This role is expected to have a clear grasp of current business performance and leverage opportunities to improve business performance through delivery of the agreed strategy.

Key accountabilities

Accountable for projects planning through the CBM process ensuring full integration with the other CBM processes. Gather competitor intelligence to inform BP strategy to ensure BP becomes the Sector Leader. Monitor the long term capital return trends on investments and determination of economic value of merger and acquisition activities. Accountable for managing the Project Finance, PMO and Strategy teams ensuring they deliver to achieve Company strategic objectives.

Essential EducationPreferably business or commercial qualifications including post graduate experience CA(SA) will be advantageous MBA optional

Essential experience and job requirementsMinimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar environment – Finance, Strategy or Portfolio Development Commercial negotiation experience essential Proven experience in influencing, networking and interacting with senior levels in the organisation including experience in communication on an executive level Experience in balancing financial and business needs to deliver business performance Ability to engage and align senior leaders
