There are opportunities at BSG (Africa) for individuals with strong business and systems analysis skills to join the Business Solutions Delivery team. Candidates must have excellent facilitation and documentation skills, and a desire to be involved in projects from conceptualisation to implementation. Experienced candidates will also be expected to lead project teams in a collaborative and professional manner, and provide coaching and mentoring within the Business Solutions Delivery team. Main Purpose of the Role:
To work on projects from conceptualisation to implementation. To gather and analyse process, data and technology requirements in order to develop innovative business solutions and bridge the needs between IT and business.

Relevant tertiary degree e.g. BBusSci or BCom Information Systems/Informatics

Job Objectives:

  • To analyse and document business requirements
  • To translate requirements into process, data and technology models that can be interpreted by IT in order to develop a solution
  • To develop innovative business and system solutions
  • To facilitate workshops and conduct presentations
  • To support project administration


  • Experience analysing and documenting business and systems requirements as a Business Solutions Consultant within a project environment


  • System development methodologies and an understanding of the project/system lifecycle
  • Processes, information & technology modelling methods
  • UML
  • Project planning techniques

Skills and Abilities:

  • Problem solving/innovation
  • Producing deliverables in the form of documentation, consisting of process diagrams and context models
  • Supporting project planning
  • Supporting project administration
  • Supporting the quality assurance process
  • Conducting client interviews
  • Data gathering
  • Conducting detailed business analysis
  • Preparing data assessment
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Supporting the design process, undertaking construction of sub-systems and being responsible for test packs/testing
