Job Purpose:
The Business Analyst acts as an agent between the business unit and Group Technology/Vendors. To convert business or project related requirements into functional requirements. To provide Nedgroup Trust and other stakeholders with accurate management reporting.

 

Key Performance Areas:

• 10% Project Work: Consult with business partners to identify and clarify project requirements. Consider the business’s limitations. Agree on the goals and the scope of the project. Document and highlight the end results, the process and the aim to achieve.
• 30% Management Reporting: Identify the sources to gather information for MIS. Compile and gather the relevant data. Liaise with key individuals to obtain information. Ensure that the data provided is accurate.
• 45% Business Requirements: Define business requirements for new and existing systems initiatives. Prioritise business initiatives in consultation with all respective stakeholders. Design and develop test packs for the integrated testing of new and existing systems functionality in accordance with audit standards. Responsible of all aspects of the SDLC.
• 5% Process: Documentation Develop and enhance business processes to achieve increased efficiencies.
• 5% Training: Identify business and systems areas where training is required. Conduct hands-on training.
• 5% Knowledge: Transfer Assisting colleagues and business users in the transfer of knowledge.

Essential Qualifications:
B.Comm IS or BSC IT

Preferred Qualifications:
B.Comm IS – Commerce related / business analysis.

Certifications:
Job Related Experience:
5 years in Financial Industry with a further 2 years as a business analyst.
