The MWEB WiFi division as a vacancy for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for investigating and actively seeking business opportunities to grow the WiFi business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead a team to negotiate contracts with vendors and venues nationally
• Strategize effectively to create new clients on a continuous basis
• Prepare and present business proposals
• Build relationships with new clients
• Manage key existing clients and selling into them
• Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products and services
• Compile and implement Business Plans
• Develop and maintain the philosophy of driving over-achievement
• Staff management
• Maintain and motivate a business development team

Qualifications and experience required
• Degree in marketing or commerce
• A minimum of 4-5 years experience in the South African ICT industry at a strategic, product or in a business Development role at a senior level
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the commercial deployment of technical products
• International business development experience advantageous
