Purpose of the role
Provision of financial assistance with regards to budgeting, management information, management accounts and absorption cost accounting for various divisions within Capitec Bank
Qualifications
Completed CIMA qualification or CA(SA) with relevant aptitude / experience
Experience Exposure to company management accounts and budgets (compilation, evaluation, interpretation), preferably in financial services industry
Knowledge and skills
Accounting principles.
Financial and operational reporting principles
Budgeting principles
Full absorption cost accounting
Communication skills (verbal and written)
Computer literacy (Advanced Excel and Word)
Advanced database structure, data extraction and data modelling skills (preferably SQL)
Advanced financial numerical and mathematical skills
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
Additional Requirements
Depending on month end requirements candidate might be expected to work weekends Willingness to work over weekends
