Job Description
Thorough professional knowledge and specialist individual expertise perform the analysis required for the Adcock Ingram quality control release. This may include analysis of raw materials, bulk, imported, finished products and stability samples to ensure compliance to specifications prior to release. Ensure that the scope of practice is met with regards to current Good Laboratory Practice in line with local and international requirements
Key Outputs
To analyse Raw Materials accurately, timeously and in accordance with specifications
To provide comprehensive reports on analyses done
To provide a quality service to Supply Chain in terms of accurate results, calibrated instruments and validation of equipment in line with standard operating procedures
To ensure careful use of consumables to prevent wastage and to efficiently control stock
To adhere to health and safety regulations, GLP and GMP
To keep up-to-date in terms of equipment and techniques

Qualifications and Experience
A national Diploma in Chemistry
Minimum 5 Years’ experience as a Laboratory Analyst, in the Pharmaceutical industry
Computer literacy: MS Office
