SALARY : R195 177 per annum Level: 07
CENTRE : Kwazulu Natal Region, Durban

REQUIREMENTS : A Grade 12 (Matric) coupled with relevant experience PLUS the following
competencies; Knowledge: A good understanding and application of Public
Service Act, Financial prescripts (Public Finance Management Act (PFMA),
Treasury Regulations etc), Understanding of the Public Service Supply Chain,
Transport Management, Human Resources control policies including Human
Resources Development (HRD) and applicable policies in the Public Service,
clear understanding of Records Management and a clear understanding of
Promotion of Access to Information within the Public Service, Skills: Interpersonal
skills, Computer literacy (MS Office Suite) and Good report writing skills,
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills, Ability to work as a team or
independently, Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills, Ability to articulate clear messages in and across different levels including
senior management, Creativity: A creative, assertive and confident person, ability
to analyse problems and recommend correct measures, Ability to interpret,
apply policies and legislation.

DUTIES : Administer all HR related matters such as leave, PMDS, Appointments,
Termination of Services and Training. Administer all SCM matters such as
procurement of goods and services including ordering of stationery (office
supplies) for the Region Provide logistical arrangements for meeting/workshops
with external stakeholder (event management). Maintain and oversee Registry
controls and procedure systems. Supervising the operation of a receptionist
service at the Region. Do access to information in line with prescripts. Provide a
Risk management service. Oversee the receiving and recording of application
into the MPRDA. Supervise and develop staff.
