Job Description

Job Titlel: Civil Engineer / Technologist (Namibia – Windhoek)

Reports to; Namibia CEO

 

Specific Accountabilities:

Reports for Civil and building services
Preliminary designs and cost estimates
Designs using Civil Designer/Civil 3D and Autocad
Tender documentation
Contract administration – from tender stage to final project hand over
Liaison with customers and contractors
Ensuring quality compliance according to WorleyParsons systems and procedures
On assignment to the field, co-ordinates or carries out work on site surveys, measurements, acts of acceptance, and other site engineering activities

Job Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experienced Required:

Pr Eng or Pr Tech (registered with the ECN or illegible to register)
Preferably 5 – 7 years plus relevant, depending on the individual, prior experience or additional training, job assignments, etc
Preferably 5 – 7 years of relevant urban infrastructure (services) project experience
Site supervision experience
Good communication skills
Driver’s license and own transport
