CIVILIAN SECRETARIAT FOR POLICE VACANCIES

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: EVALUATIONS 2 POSTS REF NO: CSP/10/2014
Fixed 4 months contract
SALARY : R 337 998 per annum, Level 10
CENTRE : Pretoria

 

REQUIREMENTS : A graduate degree in Social sciences or equivalent, qualification and/or experience in monitoring and evaluation environment. Strong research or evaluation background as well as exposure to policing environment will be an added advantage. Good understanding of government Monitoring and Evaluation prescripts e.g. Government Wide Monitoring and Evaluation policy frame work. Knowledge and experience in report writing. Project management, good communication (both verbal and written) and planning skills. Computer competency (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint), knowledge of analysis statistical packages will be an added advantage. A valid driver’s licence.

 

DUTIES : Develop evaluation plans, conduct oversight visits. Conduct desktop research on various evaluation projects. Develop data collection tools, collect, capture and analyse projects. Develop data collection tools, collect, capture and analyse data. Draft evaluation reports. Assist in the implementation of special projects identified by the Minister and Secretary of Police.
