Job Description

This position will be based in Polokwane and Bloemfontein at the Manufacturing office. This position will report to the Finance Manager: Manufacturing and will provide financial support to the Polokwane and Nelspruit manufacturing sites.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

? Daily preparation and analyses of manufacturing sites production variances / overhead recoveries and price variances.
? Assist in driving manufacturing improvement plans and projects.
? Analysis of the sites product costing including outside manufactured goods.
? Financial reporting including stock packs, variances, daily / weekly manufacturing reporting, monthly and year end processes.
? Provide finance related support to manufacturing including assisting in closing out audit findings timeously, addressing control environment risks and ensuring routines closed out appropriately.
? Business partner to the site’s manufacturing team.
? Administrative work related to shared centre.
Skills, Experience & Education o B.Com Honours degree or equivalent (CA(SA)/CIMA advantageous) with at least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
o Finance / costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
o Computer literate (SAP, ERP)
o Good analytical skills & attention to detail.
o Be a problem solver, implement plans and follow through.
