REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate three [3] year tertiary qualification in Heritage Studies, coupled
with a minimum of two [2] years relevant experience, Knowledge of the legislative
framework governing museums, Good understanding of Public Service
legislative framework applicable to government, including systems and
procedures, Knowledge of the Restoration and Conservation Act, Excellent
communication and writing skills, Planning and organizational abilities, Ability to
work independently, yet function optimally as part of a dynamic team, Good office
administration, planning and organizational skills, Critical analysis and research,
analytical, project management and planning skills, Policy Development Skills,
Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), Valid code 8/EB driver’s license.

DUTIES : Curate the Provincial museum collection, Manage the inter-loan collection
management system, Provide training on collection management, Conduct field
research on each object for collection, Provide professional support to affiliated
museums.
