POSITION PURPOSE:
You must lead your team by making the customer and sales your focus. This requires that you train, motivate and coach your team and co-workers to get them to think commercially at all times while ensuring that fashion remains at the centre of everything we do. Product presentation, store windows, campaign implementation, trends and advertising must have a clear impact on sales figures and turnover of the store.

Therefore, you not only have to have a great feel for the fashion we are displaying and selling, you also have to have an ironclad grip on sales figures, costs and objectives in order to plan your daily work.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND
Matric / Grade 12 / Equivalent
Tertiary qualifications in Visual Merchandising or Fashion Current Legal eligibility to live and work in South Africa.
Minimum 2 years experience in Visual MerchandisingManagement experience in a similar role preferred, a leader of people, a team builder, organised and can organise activities of others, problem solver, motivated, goal focused, a planner
Experience working in a direct retail environment preferable
Excellent computer skills

National travel
Out of hours work at peak trading/promotional times.
