In addition to very strong technical skills the role requires superb business process analysis and interpersonal skills. The ability to extract and analyze data, patterns, and related trends that provide insights and guidance in supporting management decisions based on industry best practices. Formulation and providing lead criteria/parameters that will be applied to different data sources is key to this role. The ability to optimize internal data sources will be a mandatory requirement
Requirements
? Ideally candidates should have an IT or applied statistics / mathematics (university) qualification.
? Course(s) on data profiling and data quality management.
? B.Sc. or related degree is advantageous.
Ideally candidates should have an IT or applied:
? Relevant software for data analytics
? High numerical aptitude
? Call centre and/or financial services
Experience
? ? Knowledge of data profiling and data profiling tools.
? Experience with data quality management strategies and life cycles.
? Proficient use of BI reporting tools, especially Microsoft Sharepoint and SQLServer Management Studio or any other SQL based query and analytical tool
? Excellent SQL skills
? Direct marketing and response modeling skills
? High level of business acumen
? Database management
? Familiarity with MS Project and Visio advantageous
? Database modeling
? Relevant programming skills
Duties & Roles
? Analyse business requirements from documents and end-user discussions.
? Identify and define all relevant data requirements necessary to support the sales strategy of Fee Income.
? Identify and define the security requirements necessary to protect the data items.
? Identify and define the business rules associated with the data; these should include all data integrity / constraint requirements.
