ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
SALARY : R183 438 per annum, Level 07

REQUIREMENTS : A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Office Administration with 1-2 years’
experience in office administration/ personal assistant or secretary PLUS the
following key competencies:Knowledge of: Basic knowledge of key public
service legislation including the following: Petroleum Products Act (Act 120 of
1977); Public Finance Management Act (Act 1 of 1999); Public Service Act (Act
103 of 1994); Corporate Services (HR, Finance, IT) Document Management;
Computer SkillsSkills: Document Management; Computer Literacy
(spreadsheets, databases and word-processing); Interpersonal skills;
Organisational Ability; Excellent communications skills (written and spoken);
Good Numeric ability
DUTIES : Render logistical support to the Regional Director with regard to the Petroleum
Products Amendments Act and administer the process of financial provision
collection. Provide secretarial/receptionist support to the manager. Provide an
efficient support service association with relevant Directorates in terms of Human
Resources Management; Financial Administration; Procurement and Asset
Management. Support the manager with the administration of budget. Administer
all payments and claims of the Directorate and deal with petty cash; telephone
costs recovery; etc. Arrange venues; workshops/seminars and take minutes
where require. Record, distribute, keep track and file documents and/or
internal/external communication
