The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Health is seeking to recruit qualified and final year students who have a National Diploma or will be writing their final exams for a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Light Current) and who have an interest in the health sector, within the field of Clinical Engineering. 

Successful applicants will receive intensive training in medical equipment/health technology management and maintenance. After successfully completing their training they will be able to pursue a career as Clinical Engineering Technicians in the KwaZulu- Natal Department of Health facilities. Successful candidates will sign a service agreement to work for a minimum of 2 years.

The minimum qualification requirements would be an N6/National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (light current) OR Electronics Engineering and computer literacy. B.Tech. qualification and experience in maintenance of electronic equipment will be an added advantage
