The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform invites qualifying applicants who are Soulh African citizens and wish lo commence with tertiary studies during the 2015 academic year to apply for bursaries to study in the field of Land Surveying / Geomatics. Females and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

 

Fields

BSc in Land Surveying / Geomatics Mathematics and Physical Science (40 Bursaries) – University of Cape Town and University of KwaZulu-Natal

 

National Diploma in Surveying / Cartography (20 Bursaries): Mathematics and Physical Science – Universities of Technology

 

It is the student’s responsibility to seek admission with tertiary institutions and accommodation within University or University of Technology residence.

 

Applicants wifi be expected to enter into a contract the Department. The bursary is for a full-time programme and will be renewed annually, based on academic performance or results. The Bursary Covers.’ Tuition, registration, accommodation, meals, living allowance and book fees.

 

Applications should include the following information: Comprehensive CV Certified copy of ID, Acceptance letter from the tertiary institution and Matric / Grade 12 should be forwarded as soon as they are available.
