PRIMARY FOCUS:
Support Operational Systems (ERP) and Business Intelligence

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide secondary ERP system support to the business, support current reporting infrastructure and assist with the implementation of the new BI strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide secondary ERP system support to the business.
Familiarise themselves with, and document current system processes and procedures.
Gain a thorough understanding of the current business systems focussing on the ERP system.
Support current reporting systems, improve and make changes as required by the business.
Assist with the design and implementation of the BI strategy.
Maintain the full BI infrastructure, servers and databases and related system technologies.
Design, maintain and enhance reporting models for the business.
Interact with business and implement changes based on requirements.
Manage and maintain the Data Warehouse.
Extract, transform and load data into the data warehouse.
Identify and assist with the implementation of system and process improvements.
Develop business process and training documentation.
Provide training where required.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two to three years ERP and BI experience

KNOWLEDGE:
Broad Systems knowledge (Windows Server / AS400 beneficial)
Database knowledge (SQL or DB2 or other)
Understand relational databases
Extract, Transform and Load ETL (SSIS or other)
Experience with BI tools (e.g. COGNOS, MSSQL, Qlikview beneficial, other similar)
Good Excel knowledge (VBA beneficial)
Programming experience (SQL must and VB or other)
Some Web experience (aspx, IIS, PHP, etc.)
