Eaton Corporation, located in Johannesburg, South Africa, has an opening for a

SOUTH AFRICA SALES MANAGER

Mission:

This position is responsible for management of regional sales resources to achieve sales/orders, market share, price, product mix and financial in the region.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the South Africa Area
· Achieve the annual sales plan

· Implement the sales policy within the region

· Implement the Eaton processes

· Coordinate marketing actions in the region

· Develop the Three Phase sales

· Develop the Power Distribution sales

· Develop sales in targeted countries

· Identify, analyze, select and continuously improve the region’s various channels to market and structure the service partner channel

· Understand the products and their competitive position in the area and communicate the customer’s satisfaction and/or needs

· Develop and deploy area business plans in support of regional objectives. Aligning with the regional business plan

· Report in timely manner and build a strong relationship with the hierarchy

· Establish staff development plans, assure continuous improvement, and build up harmonious, motivated and engaged team

Job Qualifications
/Educational Requirements

· Degree in Marketing & Sales

· 5 years Sales experience

· Distribution background

· Technical experience in UPS and/or Power Distribution

· Fluent in English
· Good people management & development skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Proven sales & marketing skills with entrepreneurial behavior.

· Computer skills at a high or advanced skill level
