SALARY : R227 802 per annum

REQUIREMENTS : Three year relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
An Honours Degree or B Tech Degree will be an added advantage. Valid
drivers licence. Two years relevant experience. Knowledge: Departmental
Policies and procedures , Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Act and
Regulations, OHS ACT and Regulations ,OHSAS,COIDA, ISO 18001. Skills:
Facilitation, Planning and Organizing, Computer literacy, Interpersonal,
Problem Solving, Interviewing, listening and observation, Presentation,
Innovative, Analytical, Research, Project management.

 

DUTIES : Conduct research into the development of Electrical and Mechanical
engineering policies. Analyze and assess inspections for Electrical and
Mechanical periodically as per OHS programme. Conduct technical research
on trends of Occupational Health and Safety in terms of Electrical and
Mechanical. Provide administrative support to ensure that objectives of the
directorate are fulfilled.
