ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN: GRADE A REF NO: 29/6/14
SALARY : R 222 150 – R 239 313 per annum
CENTRE : Alfred Nzo

 

REQUIREMENTS : A National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Three (3) years post qualification
experience, Proof of registration with ECSA as Professional Engineering
Technician, Good writing and verbal communication skills, Ability to conduct
meetings, Computer literacy, Budgeting and financial management skills,
Organizing and planning skills, Knowledge of administrative procedures in the
Public Service, A valid Drivers’ License is essential.

 

DUTIES : Evaluation of business proposals and preparation of relevant feasibility reports,
Planning and design of agricultural infrastructure, Preparation of operation and
maintenance manuals for designed systems, Procuring of service providers for
the construction/ installation of infrastructure including detailed designs,
specifications and drawings for tender documents in line with CIDB regulations,
Construction management and supervision, Attending meetings and writing
reports, Advising farmers on the management and maintenance of infrastructure
