Financial Controller

• BCom Accounts is preferred
• Accounting qualification
• 5-10yrs experience in Financial Accounting in a Warehouse environment
• Reverse logistics and warranty exposure is an advantage

Warranty Repairs & Reverse Logistics Processes:

• Financial reporting and analysis of Apple Care using the PPR program
• Matching of RMA’s to credits received from Apple Inc
• Matching of credits provided to AASP to RMA’s submitted to Apple
• Monitoring and improvement of existing processes

Financial Services:

• Month end reporting – preparation of financial statements depicting trading results of responsible business units
• Key working capital parameters
• Inter company loan account reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Variance reporting – actuals vs budgets
• Extended warranties – provision
• Insurance Claims – reporting and recording against threshold
• iCare plus program reporting

Inventory & Asset Management:

• Analysis of stock age analysis and stock movement solutions as required
• Analysing and reporting on cycle stock counts
• Attending, analysing and reporting on stock takes with discrepancies and solutions to rectify
• Review stock adjustments on a regular basis
• Consignment stock analysis
• Spares stock holding forecasting and procurement management
• Management of spares supply and reverse logistics into various African territories

Statutory compliance:

• Compliance with IFRS standards
• VAT compliance
• Tax clearance
• Audit and review of SOP compliancy in repair centre

Commercial/ other:

• Management of insurance claims and declarations
• Reporting of iCare plus extended warranty program

Human Resources:

• Staff training and development
• Performance management

Creditors:

• Timeous preparation of Creditor Payments
• Review of all creditor reconciliations

Debtors & Cash Control:

• Ensure debtors book of responsible areas managed effectively
• Ensure bank reconciliations are done daily
• Ensure debtor allocations are up to date
