1. FINANCIAL CLERK REF NO: 05135

Directorate: Finance (Revenue)
SALARY : R123 738 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : Odi District Office

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 certificate with 2 years relevant experience or National Diploma in
Accounting or Finance with 1 year experience. Must have knowledge of PFMA,
Treasury Regulations and DORA. Knowledge of PAAB, BAS and IRE.
Experience in the field of finance environment would be an advantage. A valid
driver’s license. Good communication (verbal, written and report writing) skills
must be computer literate and be able to work under pressure.

DUTIES : Billing of patient files. Capturing payment on PAAB. Drawing reports on BAS.
Tracing of Outstanding patient’s debts. Write offs on daily basis. Performing all
duties in the Main cashier. Revenue reconciliations done on monthly basis.
Submitting Annexure F on monthly basis to Head Office. Meet reporting and
other deadlines. Perform any duties related to Finance assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 with Accounting or Maths as a passed subject. At least one year
experience in a working environment. Computer literacy, Communication skills in
English, Zulu, Setswana and Afrikaans. Knowledge of Finance and Hospital
Expenditure related policies.

DUTIES : Compiling of sundry supplier payments, reconciling of supplier statements, doing
of GRV’s on SRM and general office duties. Knowledge of SAP will be an added
advantage.
