SALARY : R183 438 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : South Rand Hospital

 

REQUIREMENTS : Relevant Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification with 3 years relevant experience in Administration or Grade 12 certificate with 5 years practical experience in Administration. Knowledge of PMDS policy. Knowledge of relevant prescripts and legislations governing patient affairs such as PFMA. Excellent administrative skills. Be computer literacy and have communication skills, have
thorough PAAB knowledge and necessary skills to manage and supervise coworkers.
Ability to work under pressure. Good interpersonal and people management skills. Good communication skills and reporting skills, knowledge of patient’s registration electronics system (PAAB). Interpersonal relation. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team, committed, loyal respect and good customer care attitude. Ability to work under pressure.

 

DUTIES : Effective and efficient implementation of patient administration duties, porter, transport, cleaning, mortuary, registration and laundry. Implement PMDS system in all sub-units and management of leave, overtime and allowances, improve control mechanism of patient medical record, attend and resolve patient queries, ability to respond to Auditor General, compile monthly reports, ensure the correctness of the patient registrations. Control downtime files and their registers. Improve revenue collection system. Ensure that registration register are updated
and kept safe. . Knowledge of GPG 4 and 5 forms as well as the UPFS charges sheet, lead a team to solve workplace challenges and conflicts. Knowledge of disciplinary procedures performs any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Supervise the following departments : patient affairs, medical records ward clerks, Porters, Transport, Registry, Mortuary, Linen Rooms, Unit files, Achieves statistics/data collection and cleaning department, Provide guidance , Assistance and training of subordinates, attend patients queries. Manage conflicts and grievances and maintain discipline in all components. Manage employee’s performance(PMDS)
