Job & Company Description:

Successful financial services company in the North of Gauteng is in the market for a qualified and experienced Accountant. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager and be responsible for full financial functions as well as supervision of the debtors and creditors clerks. The duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to management of fixed asset register, control account General Ledgers, handle intercompany accounts payable and receivable books as well as handle journals and reconciliations and manage a small team.

 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed or in final year of a BCom degree or equivalent
3 or more years’ experience in an accounting role
1 year of supervising experience within an accounting role with a team of more than 1 person.
Advance Knowledge in Sage and MS excel
Excellent Communication
Ability to work independently and under pressure
