As Payroll Delivery Manager you are responsible for the delivery of the in country process execution as per contracts and ensuring the SLAs are achieved. The incumbent will be responsible for people management tasks to manage employees delivering the services, including performance management and their development. You will be responsible for managing a staff compliment including Payroll Administrators, Expense Claims Administrators as well as a pool of Subject Matter Experts (VIP system). You will ensure strong business controls performance as well as a strong control posture ensures compliance with all fiscal and legal rules.
You will ensure accurate processing of all administration functions within your scope and work closely with Shared Service Centre Offshore as well as other departments e.g HR, Finance to ensure smooth delivery and a positive employee/ manager experience. You will also be the ‘face of Africa’ to the clients. You will be part of a global management system as well as run your local management system including escalation management and problem solving on the ground. Strong project management skills needed (e.g. for execution of PCRs).
